Wow what a week. I went most of this year with only one commission and 4 repairs. This week I took orders for 4 guitars. One is in process and the others are in design stage. I figure this part timer is booked solid till March if everyone gets me their deposits. Two have, two more to go. But I never count my guitars till the wooden eggs hatch. I have never had more than two going at the same time and have scheduled to stay at that pace. Maybe I can get a new bandsaw for Christmas MichaelP38513.7421412037

Way to go Michael. No better feeling than to get a commission along with a deposit.

I'm glad he made contact w/ you Michael. I have to fess up...I told him you'd pay him for the privilege of building his guitar. That is right, isn't it?

Localy I work by word of mouth, I know quite a few local pro and smi-por players in this area. They have been the majority of my work to date. I am going to join The Luthiers's Showcase later but had too much in my out going expenses (Major vehicel repair)the past two months to get in on the ground floor discount. drats

Commissions are like catsup in a bottle
First none will come and then a lot'll
